Forgot to show the cockpit, with its beautiful matching Brembo master cylinders. I really like how the Koso dash light colour matches the Öhlins fork tops. It’s keyless go hence the ignition blank.... took a lot of time on the wiring ....

Beautiful. We’re you not tempted to machine the barrel casting off?

There’s a little sensor in there for the keyless fob in case I need to override the bluetooth....

Ah, got you.

That dash is an awesome thing. Seen them on a few specials and they look like a quality piece of kit.

We were supposed to be going this year, are you going to take it next year?

That started life as one of the original 1990s 885cc triples. Trident/Daytona/Trophy/Sprint/Thunderbird/Legend TT/Adventurer/Tiger.

Started off as a 1998 Sprint SE 900 ... like this one.

I’ve actually got an absolutely mint Daytona 900 too.... got a thing for those old triples...

God I hate working in IT sometimes!

I love the idea of creating some of the beautiful examples you guys have shown in this thread, but my knowledge extends to changing oil and simple mods like end can changes frownfrownfrown

After waiting a week for this little oil pump seal ... I got started on putting the engine together this evening

I reassembled the oil pump ..... and popped it back in .....

.... and then put the sump pan, gearbox cover, crack case breather and clutch cover engine casings on. Put the rest of the covers on loosely and even slipped the cylinder block on (no pistons in there yet though) to see how it looks.....

Next job is put pistons in and fit cylinder properly .... then it’s on to the head .... and the very complicated cam chain set up ...
