I watched video the w/end of m/flyer riding one of these , he really liked it and said he d go for the red , lovely bike enjoy
The only thing I d query & it s the thing that s holding me off buying a new bike is the time of the year , sept , but that could be me as mines about to hibernate to apx next March so I m thinking is it worth it buying now , but I ll probably be proved wrong and we will have the hottest / dryist winter on record
Enjoy as lovely bike
That is a cracking looking bike, enjoy.

October is my favourite time of year to ride: warm enough, roads clean, lovely autumnal colours and less tourists and daytrippers. Can sometimes get some nice days out in February but the roads are covered in debris.

I hope your right on October , I’m just looking out thinking were back to the good old British weather , rain , hopefully I’m wrong , and maybe acorn is not like me and doesn’t mind a bit of wet riding ( cleaning bike up after ) .

I read something the other day that El Nino will be particularly active this year giving us a cold, wet winter. Let's hope it waits until November!

Yeah, winter just needs appropriate clothing.

To continue the RS250 goodness... She's finally found her way to the lift... Front cylinder head is off, determined to resolve the reoccurring head sealing issue. The viton O ring in the head insert keeps failing allowing coolant into the combustion chamber... gets very messy very quickly with liquid spooge being ejected from the pipe... Might be a small skim on the cylinder or a new insert but now she's on the lift, it's getting sorted. New petcock for the leaking original, replace the crash damaged front wheel and a general check over, jetting for the local altitude and fingers crossed she'll be ready...

My wife's friend was feeling left out with all of the bike action this summer so did her CBT and bought a grom. I'd forgotten how funny they are, it looks like we've got our little kid sister out with us. I want to put tassels on the bars and fit a bell hehe

Fingers crossed for you on that one

I've had the zeeltronic fitted with QS and it's lovely on the changes now

Good spot hehe

I hadn't been there in years but have randomly gone there a few times in the past couple months. It's exactly the same as 20 years ago just with different staff, don't think the menu has even changed.

Since the box has had to shut we've been floating around on our week night get togethers, sucks about that place.

Spent the afternoon dismantling my Panigale to replace a little plastic flap that had broken near the bottom yoke. It was a £4 part. Took me a couple of hours as it was the first time I’d take the side off it. Enjoyed tinkering in the garage. Quite cathartic.

Nice!!

It does make a big difference. How did you find the air solenoid setup?? any issues or are you running one of the base maps?

I wish I could answer these detailed bits but I didn't do any of the work for once. Gave it all to Richard Rogers (RHR Motorcycles) who did everything. I just said I wanted the QS in road shift and could do with the power being cleaner in the transition for road

He dyno'd it (I have the pic on my phone) in 30+ degrees with it pulling 60.9bhp at the wheel from 11,000 to 11,300

It has a tweaked map from what I gather. Not really more power up top and I run the auto lube slightly on the more oil side of things as I'm heavy with my right hand

It's just 3-4hp cleaner with less dips from low to mid range

Is there any nights that are more 'biker'

I might get myself back there a few times

I feel your pain with this…good luck with sorting it out.

Between Birky and yourself, I find myself looking at RS250s far too often …

I’d imagine they must be a joy on track.

Great to look at, great to smell, joy on track and like a supermodel as a girlfriend the rest of the time…I’d imagine.
