Unless you know exactly what happened, anything else is speculation really.

At least Martins bike was perfect.

Point is he s been sacked for being a naughty boy and nothing performance related. Hopefully you can at least agree with that which is the whole point.
Yeah Completely Agree with That. Something has gone on and he's been caught.

I have Spoken to Guy about the Honda. But I'll leave that to another day biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

If we're doing wild speculation, I reckon he's fallen out with Bridewell.

Well that would be very easily done.

But given Bridewell's poor performance, and his personal conduct, when HRC has constantly strived for them to be an ultra professional outfit (and the rest of the riders are), surely they'd bin TB off rather than Harv?

TB is the first one to bring them a title in donkeys years though. They obviously rate him with the WSBK wild cards as well.

I obviously have no idea really.

He won the title on a Ducati?

So he did laugh

He came bloody close though.

TB is Honda's golden boy; he brought that bike on in leaps and bounds last year, only missed taking the championship by a single point, does extensive testing for them on the WSBK, as well as the WSBK wildcard rides. If Harvey's departure is in any way linked to Tommy, it would only be that he hasn't provided him with a more competitive bike this season.

He’s done something serious, i think he convinced TB to sign for them so as far as that goes, i doubt that the lack if performance is the reason and TB isn’t likely to demand he goes.

He’s done something so bad i think they’ve said Harv, either you jump or we push you but you’re gone either way.
That sort of thing is usually Gross Industrial Misconduct which can range from theft to assault and no end of things inbetween, see Horner at RBR for example.

Man loses his job without any indication why and people start slinging upskirting and other sexual misdemeanour speculation around. Classy.

There really aren’t.

He’s a 30 Honda man who’s been dismissed for undisclosed reasons. So close to the end of the season anything remotely normal or even not that bad would have been handled with a lot more grace.

They haven’t even let him disappear under the personal reasons smoke screen.

Really? You can’t imagine any other reasons a long standing employee would be out other than a sexual offence? I can think of loads

Theft as well, of course.

You know nothing about his work with Honda if you think they’ve sacked him for photocopying his bum or something silly.

Are any of the by the grace of god go I?

Point is Fred said the guy deserves our sympathy. Seems very unlikely in the circumstances.

There's endless possibilities, really. Loads of reasons a split could have been instigated by either party without it being anything to do with misconduct, especially not sexual misconduct which seems a huge leap to make given nothing has been said by either party.

In any corporate, if you fall out with someone senior enough you could find yourself on the end of a compromise agreement and out of the door in a matter of hours. Honda will be no different.

I’d argue Honda are different, and Japanese companies generally. It’s not how they do business especially with a guy right at the top who’s worked for them for decades.

Besides I don’t think Beltran is a director or anything that could lead to a boardroom spat.

This looks like termination of employment which doesn’t happen because of a fall out as you put it.

No I didn't, not knowing why he's gone I haven't accused him of anything either
