There isn’t half some bks posted on this thread.
3 different makes in the first 3 places in qualifying,
Tight race between 3 different makes for the lead for the majority of the race (till the bimota broke), and a Honda coming home 5th.

Do you guys commenting it’s a Ducati only championship actually watch the races?

It's a bit off topic although there was something on here a while ago about Hicky giving BSB a miss because it just wasn't possible to make the BMW competitive within the regulations.

Anyway I watched King of the Roads highlights a few days ago and he did pretty well at the Southern 100 on the IOM considering he's a novice!

There is only one BMW in the entire BSB paddock this year, the rules just do not suit that bike, which is pathetic when they seem to suit what is basically a GP bike far more, typical

Yet they’re having good results in Superstock, albeit still with small numbers of bikes. They’ve never had big number on the grid, which I think relates to more than just the rules.

It is clear they do not work or the current version of the bike does not work within the BSB rule set which is why nobody uses it, if it works in Superstock and not there, that is the obvious reason

And it seems to work very well on the roads too so it's a curious one.

Isn't it as simple as the control Motec ECU that the BMW can’t seem to make work for it, rather some big mystery? Roads and other series don’t have that restriction.

I've no idea, possibly that woud explain an awful lot but it's curious how when Fay Ho ran the team, they did really well, then when she left things took a downturn.

The coverage is absolute rot it really is, the director will not watch leaders for long he will do ANYTHING to find a battle, you just had guys passing up front, taking time out of leaders and this moronic idiot cuts to a 3 rider battle for 12th place.

I mean I get it in a way, but there was less than a second between the top 3 ffs, and this guy is clearly working to a cover ANY battle script.

Makes the coverage patchy and all over the pace, really poor

I could do a better job

conversely you will get people complaining that the cameras should follow the whole field not just the top few.

Kyle should be in WSBK, he is good enough if he has the right bike.

The trouble is though, he won't get offered a decent ride unless he brings a LOT of money to the table. When you have Miller and most likely Morbidelli coming to WSBK plus Petrucci looking for a ride along with others, Kyle will only get offered the dregs so to speak.
It's not like years ago when they wanted a British rider in GP's and WSBK because the market was big enough to support their inclusion, now they couldn't give a monkeys - see Vickers experience for example, doing okay ish and gets booted in favour of someone with a better budget.

It's sad but that is the honest truth and Kyle and his management team know that i'm sure

The path Dorna and Liberty want SBK to be on is not supporting older BSB riders, they will get chances as Bridewell has done if they take millions to the table, and maybe this new team could do this as they make their money basically flogging stuff on gambling auction websites a huge profit area.

But the organisers don't want this, they ONLY and pretty much want exclusively ex GP riders, this has been a change in the last 15 or so years since Biaggi was bribed to go there really lol

They will think it raises the profile of their series, when all it does it make it look like a retirement home for washed up GP riders, and it is also happening a lot in Supersport sadly too. SO the chances for young talent from anywhere,m not just the UK is going.

Conversely, Bayliss was bang average in Supersport, comes here and utterly dominates the last few rounds, the gap between top level in BSB and SBK is far, far bigger than it ever has been, because of this influx of GP riders.

You would NEVER get Bryne, Hodgson Reynolds, BSB riders winning SBK races now, partly due to rules, but also the level is far higher, it has been moved away from what it ought to be, a series for stock bikes, the fact you have no Super-stock series, you instead of women racing and a 300 class shows you exactly what Dorna want here, and it is yet another talent poo, for people to go GP racing, not a lot else.

Given you've previously gloated about watching via illegal streams rather than paying for it, you're in no position to criticise the output whatsoever.

Of course I am, if anything I am more qualified to comment as people like you ARE paying for it so contribute to it directly, but if it makes you feel better to rant about me fair enough.

It's like saying you can't complain about government if you don't vote, of course you can coz you didn't elect these feckless idiots.
