Air Vest recommendations please

I have had Helite air vests for nearly 8 years, currently have a Turtle 2. I have been punted off twice while stationary (blood biking) and the vest deployed both times, no injuries.

I have never set it off be stepping off the bike, tried, but the pull to set it off, stopped my before inflation.

I have looked at the Tech Air 5 Plasma and it is more comfortable, but what put me off is:

- I prefer an over the jacket air vest
- The lack of chest protection (none really)
- They advise not to wear with heated gear, which I have for winter

So sticking with Mr Helite offering for now, which has served me well

Yup, but that was over 10 years of volunteering Not massive offs, just a shunt up the rear and a drop. Not massive accidents

Perfect scenario for whiplash injuries and telling that you escaped uninjured, sounds like the airbag vests did their thing.
