Where did you buy the car? How did you get it home?
Seeing as this is your 1st post and we don't know you more information is required.
Where are you located?

you used to able to take your log book to the Fiat/Chrysler dealership, and just order a key and remote using the VIN, thats the first thing to try

Which would now be your Local Jeep Dealership. If You are located in the UK?

Hi All

I have this info BUT!!!!!! Will not share it as it could put fellow viper owners cars at risk....

However if the car was with me and you had valid paperwork to prove you own the Viper in question I would get it started..

Hi Can any of you out there help.I work for a garage that has recovered a viper rt10 the owner has kept it off the road for quite a while, the problem is even though he has kept up the battery charge with a charger and the key works (according to the display) it will only run far a few seconds indicating the anti theft is operative. have checked the fuel pump ( which is working) inc relay , but now need help. Thanks for any guidance. Merv.

WHAT YEAR CAR MATTERS,
Is it a Gen 1 Viper RT/10 or a Gen II Viper RT/10?

The Vin number will be on the drivers side windshield post, that will identify which year the car actually is.
(not the reg number)

That's a Gen 1 Dodge Viper smile
Drop "Dr Bob a PM" (Private message).
Alarm resetting is not something we put on open forums. We would want to know more details about the car and may contact the owner to confirm the issue.

Giving the owner details is not a problem as he is well aware of what we are trying to do.

HI. I can understand not posting alarm resetting etc but what tests can we do to confirm whether it is the immobilizer or some thing else.
