I've searched all over for a reader for my yr2000 GenII PCM, to read off the stored mileage to correct my swopped out faulty Odo/Speedo. Can anyone help please?

Chrysler/Dodge have no dealerships (just in the south/anywhere?). Was kept waiting for months by Jeep, who were trying to source suitable kit ...and finally failed. Tried other garages nearby (Bournemouth location).

i think the ODB2 scanners are now defunk'ed, I had one plugged back in the day by the local dodge dealership

You don't hear of anyone using them, the were costly and needed constant updating. It did show the mileage though on the screen

Pete, If you search back through the history on the forum I recall one member saying he had acquired the scan tool from Silverstone. He might still be around and might still have it?

I thought Nad had all that?

I have a basic fault code reader and it clears codes but that's all it does.

:-/ cheers Neil. I ran the GTS into Dodge Poole 5 years ago and they scanned it and gave the mileage then. Just never fixed the odo at the time which turned out to be beyond repair. Finally got it replaced last year. But need it wound UP to the correct figure. Tricky now!

Cheers Ginj and 8.4. Checking emails now

I've the same reader too, MK! Nad's disappeared, but knowing her, has EVEN MORE going on in her world now than ever before, so best not disturb!! Hope she hasn't worn herself out so much she really has disappeared..!
