You know the whole PH 'hold a tin of custard' started with my missus having to prove she was who she said she was

Daz, my plumbers wife is a school teacher so as you are more qualified I take it your lady is probably a head mistress!

Naughty boy Darren, go and pull your trousers down and expect the usual punishment wink

I also got drenched! Glad to be back in the warm, but decent turn out considering how terrible the weather was!

I was going to Chatsworth just for the hell of it but i had two problems

Drove around the block the other day and left the wheel nut key on the nut so i can`t remove any of the wheels

Been waiting for nearly five days for the Tax disc ,can`t understand it when i insure my car all the documents drop through the door the next day !what is it with DVLA.furious

It means i am covered but not allowed to drive it ,they need to come up with a better system.Same problem when i cash the Tax in ,i send it in a week before the end of the month ,paid duty for the whole month but can`t drive the car once the Tax disc has been removed ! its crazy.

I go to the post office and get it there and then.

I post it off, registered post on the last day of the month, making sure that it makes the last post. They usually refund minus the following month, so I send them an email with copy of registered post to show that it was posted before the end of the month and get a gheck for the month. Why they can't do it right first time.

Its not the date when its posted off,its not the date when they receive it ,its when they decide to proccess the returned Tax disc.

It should be the date the Post office stamps it ready to be posted back to DVLA ,they are a law to there self !

Mine was posted a week before and they still took a month off me .

When y0ur waiting for a Tax disc or when you send one off to cash in i should be able to photo copy the disc for for tempory measures.

The only offence your committing by driving the car is not displaying the disk you are actually taxed! now in the instance you get an anally attentive police man[or lady don't want to be labelled sexist] who decides to report you for the offence of not displaying, it would be highly unlikely you would be prosecuted
Even if you were its a non endorsable offence! Covered by a fine, well worth the risk for a special occasion biggrin
Posting because just had this precise scenario!

It's the date you post it. Just get proof of postage. I have done this many times, it is the date you post.
