Come to Shelsley Walsh near Tenbury Wells, this Sunday morning to see what you are missing, please don't bring the MX5 though I am trying to out number them in the paddock, with TVRs. See the thread "short notice take 2" on the TVR S series group.

You wouldn't get a bunch of Z4 owners meeting for a 2 hour blast from Rotherham to Cleethorpes just for some fish and chips! I did on Sunday! A Tuscan, 4 chimearas ( one was mine) V8 S, 2 cerberas, 350 wedge and a tamora. What a drive! I had the pleasure of following the V8 S, wow! .Glorious Autumnal morning roof down , I get the Z4 as daily driver but cannot touch Chimaera for sheer enjoyment. I'm still smiling now smile

If some of you guys do come along to Shelsey Walsh on Sunday and you see some large white-bearded guy drooling over your Chimaera, please take pity and show it off. I'm planning on coming up in my S1...

Don't tell the others, but I have a need to own a Chimaera as well, so I will be drooling around them myself. In fact there were 2 at Shelsley last month, which I had a close look at. There was a T350 as well but that is way out of my price range.
Must get mine up to a presentable standard and see how the markets are.

LOL, your secret is safe with me. Mine's more an "as well as" rather than an "instead of" scenario though smile

I agree completly the tvr communitie is fantastic! There's something very special about TVRs that you do not get with other sports cars!

Cheers for the thoughts, Schnozz, I am only in the early stages of restoring my S, so will be a while until my Chimaera idea will be more "real". Thinking along the lines of a tourer with OH rather than hooning, so may fit the bill. There again maybe the GRRiffith, could be in the plan, my ideas change by the day.

I keep flip-flopping back and fore between a Chimaera or Wedge.. TBH if I could afford a SEAC I'd have that in a heartbeat, then of course there's the V8S but if I had one of them it'd be instead of my S1 and even after this short time I'm quite attached to it....
