Just as a matter of interest where does the pipe that's attached to the flame trap end up?
Carbon canister
hehe

It's very tempting but I keep telling myself to turn away from the dark side...

I have two flame traps to atmosphere and I'm still getting positive crankcase pressure, and that's with total seal rings and 2% leak down
And why on earth would you want the canister filling up with water and oil vapour

I had this problem. I believe you may have to go back to the old system of a connection to the plenum to suck the pressure out of the crankcase.

On Thursday I went with Eann Whalley to Auto Sport North in Wallasey to fine tune the map on the Megasquirt he's added to look after the fuel on his turbo install.

Very impressive Dynapack Hub Dyno generates accurate figures at wheels and allows for fine adjustments to be made without slippage etc.

Here is the graph first run 466ftlbs @ 3300 349bhp @ 4400 at just +9 lbs boost. They turned back torque and horse power to 445ftlbs and 345bhp for longevity.

Eann's done a neat setup with the Megasquirt for fueling with an adaptor to plug into original loom which makes the whole installation fully reversable.

Full article to follow in Sprint once Eann returns from holiday.

Thats impressive! What figures might you expect if you strapped the kit onto a boggo 500?

OK, Power's website doesn't have a kit for the 500.... Would that have anything to do with the supposedly weak standard 500 crank? Dom?

Or maybe that there are a lot more 4.0 engines out there combined with the likelihood that there is more demand amongst this group for large power gains?

Cranks are weak but yours is stronger but not as strong as a 4.6.

You have not bought a Turn key engine then ! thought that was the way to go !

Im thinking if the ACT induction kit could be used on Eanns kit to save a few quid .rolleyes

I believe you have larger bore liners then standard with a larger journal crank ground down at the big end journals to increase stroke.
