Clever Trevor have engine mounts at £30 each inc VAT and Racing Green have them at £42 each inc VAT ... Aren't they now the same stock of parts running from the same premesis?

I did as they told me their new compound won't melt under any conditions I could throw at them, that's after I had two pairs melt on me!
Also added some heat shields just for belt and braces

heat shields on the SC engine mount retainers good idea, mine started to melt a few days after fitting them, they are so close to the manifolds so i wrapped some fiberglass heat mat around them with a wire retainer, PITA to do but been Ok since.

Oh man! Just been and picked the old girl up - my old mounts were ripped to hell!

One was completely torn all the way round and the other was split ... I wonder if that was why she's been "jerking" recently on a very light throttle as she definitely wasn't this evening on the way home. biggrin

I had an older 3 years or so old that melted it was the black compound, the new compound is supposed to be bomb proof

When I bought mine they told me they only have one compound now and it's a dark greyish colour, so these are probably not the latest ones
