What did you do in the garage yesterday?
Discussion
Done in the conservatoire, I admit, not the garage, but a rare venture into the world of spanners for me.
Fitted four new 50mm M6 bolts, washers and lock nuts to fix the seat to this beauty, before it goes into the Beavers and Cubs Christmas raffle tomorrow. I think there may be an issue with the gearbox, as it doesn't appear to freewheel and thing with the red knob doesn't seem to do anything, but I am reliably told it's too cold to fix gearboxes right now.......

20 year old rubber !
It is worth checking the size of your ARB as there was an option for slightly larger ones direct from the factory. People like Pollybush to the larger sizes if required.
22 years old I'll have you know! And 60k miles. They aren't as bad as they look actually. The original Ford ones have a metal insert collar that you have to bend to get them off. The replacement ones are Superflex poly. Same as a Ford Capri..... £19.It is worth checking the size of your ARB as there was an option for slightly larger ones direct from the factory. I measured the ARB as 22mm which is actually embossed in the rubber on the old ones that you can see when they're off.
Following this thread Fitting door lights I have replaced my useless door ashtrays with door lamps including a delay/fade on door closing
