Just thinking, I remember Peter starting this thread, didn't realise it'll soon be celebrating it's 5th anniversary party

I have my gearbox ready to go in but with this weather, I really can’t be arsed!

Not yesterday admittedly, it was a bit TOO cold, but recently changed the front ARB bushes. Quite a difference...….

20 year old rubber !

It is worth checking the size of your ARB as there was an option for slightly larger ones direct from the factory. People like Pollybush to the larger sizes if required.

Done in the conservatoire, I admit, not the garage, but a rare venture into the world of spanners for me.

Fitted four new 50mm M6 bolts, washers and lock nuts to fix the seat to this beauty, before it goes into the Beavers and Cubs Christmas raffle tomorrow. I think there may be an issue with the gearbox, as it doesn't appear to freewheel and thing with the red knob doesn't seem to do anything, but I am reliably told it's too cold to fix gearboxes right now....... whistle

Honorary TVR, that; no airbag, no side impact protection... not to mention the frequent need to be pushed...
Proper!

Almost spot on - you didn't mention the inadequate brakes and lack of roll over protection.
However, this is an improved TVR model - no outriggers to rust through, and no space for an argumentative passenger..... getmecoat

22 years old I'll have you know! And 60k miles. They aren't as bad as they look actually. The original Ford ones have a metal insert collar that you have to bend to get them off. The replacement ones are Superflex poly. Same as a Ford Capri..... £19.

I measured the ARB as 22mm which is actually embossed in the rubber on the old ones that you can see when they're off.

Started messing with some spare heads to see what can be done with them
Hopefully I can do them justice and make a good enough job of them to put them on the car

Filled and berped the PS
All done and dusted but the pump squeld like a banshee on any movement
Left it alone for 24 hours and it’s now as quiet as a mouse
All ready to go see Joolz on the 3rd
