One question for you daz, does yours have power steering already or not. Mine doesnt and it has no way of powering the rack thats why Ive gone down the route of electric power steering pump. Also mine is a pre serp, it cant run a pump from the engine easily without changing too many things. from memory when I looked at your engine it had a serpentine drive belt.
Mine has power steering but the rack has internal damage caused by the company who originalt refurbished it .wuckfitracing said:

Daz has been angling for this from the start and even Peter "TVR Surrey" wasn't brave enough to take up the challenge

Interesting that you can get a new rack for that cost.
At that price I would buy one and put it on the shelf.
The one I bought second hand was only £40 and I fitted it without having it overhauled, a sort of suck it and see. It works perfectly well and has’t any play in it at all which just goes to show that Japanese engineering is far superior then whatever TVR fitted to their cars!

Weird? my last comment was sent last night then repeated today. Must be the Chinese hacking my messages again. As far as Im aware, and so far Daz that is the correct rack, However Ive not tried fitting it yet so it might not be , hence why I said wait a bit. lets hope it fits eh ! Ive ordered some new TVR arms and track rod ends to fit the Subaru rack today. Yours arms should fit from your TVR rack already as its a power steering rack. You will need the fixing brackets that bolt it to the existing bolt holes and the mounting rubbers.
