How many miles have you done on it in that time do you think Mick?
Not as many as I would have liked, only about 3000. I had it off road a while doing some chassis work, shocks and bushes plus new clutch. Hoping to get lots more miles this year as everything is sorted now. [quote=l6rth]Ressurecting my post from a few years ago. I am not re-visiting this idea and wonder now a few more people have done this what the feed back is? Powers or TorqueV8 but this time ditching the 14cux for mappable ignition.[/quot e]
Will you be fitting yourself or have someone else do it ? Either way don't forget to factor in that Power will charge you the dreaded VAT and Eann does not, so when I had the full Turbo/ECU install fitted from Eann it cost around £5550. This included a boost gauge and mapping, factor in a new clutch as the standard 1 will not take the power and you want the clutch changed before the kit is fitted and mapped as I have heard of clutches being burnt out while being on the rollers. I have also now had an oil cooler fitted with thermostat and oil temperature gauge, have purchased a boost controller which I am having fitted in the near future.

Are you running big boost Dave? Do they make an upgraded clutch or is it a 500 unit?
I'm running 12lb of boost, I had a AP racing clutch fitted, which I purchased from TVR Power. I spoke to Dom and he said this would be good up to 450 BHP and this was the 1 they use when doing a turbo install. There are other clutches available, just depends on what you use your car for, my car is just road based. The AP racing clutch is also a lot lighter on the foot than the standard clutch I had in mineI have the complete Powers set up running at 18psi. The clutch is the AP one like Dave's and works perfectly okay. It handles 481 ft/lbs torque so Dom is correct with his comments
I can't give you a separate price for the clutch install as it was all part of the engine rebuild and other work.
The turbo kit was £3,500 + vat so £4,200.
The MBE was £2,495 + vat so £2,994.
Prices correct at time of install - April 2015
The AP clutch prices are in the store: http://www.powersperformance.co.uk/store/filter/ca...

just a slight cautionary tale on our supercharged 4.0ltr car running 10psi i took doms advise and fitted the ap clutch as spec does indeed say it will handle the extra bhp and torque and if driven reasonably on the road it will but we screwed ours in less than 500 miles and have gone through many clutches since even a triple plate superclutch now got the 10.5 inch mcleod which i feel is the right tool for the job but its not light over to you
