Can't make up my mind as to what to use.

10 year old 17"x40 profile R1Rs that have achieved an 11.07

or

1 year old 18"x35 profile Federal 595 RSRs untried and unproven.

Err, typo, 12.07!

That was my current car running slightly less BHP on the road R1Rs, (9 years old at the time).

Yes, I think I will try both!

I am talking about standard engines Derek. All the talk of 10's is never going to get standard guys showing up and doing 14's now is it. Grass roots and all wink

After much thought I'd say whatever you do on road tyre's you should be able to get 1/2 second at least out of the MT's so a 12.3 would be a perfect run on my standard ish powered car.
Which kind of shows you the difference between standard engines and more exotic ones,,, although I don't rebuild mine every 6 months it still runs fairly good for a car that regularly does 100'miles a day. smile
Pffft hehe
And is on its original bores. laugh

Just spent a few hours at A&E with my daughter. They seem to have plenty of Nitrous Oxide. Should I bring some home with me?

Weather not looking good for this weekend. Trouble is, it ony needs a slight drizzle and the track is closed.

Thanks Barrie. Just looked at the BBC weather myself and agree with you. Will make a decision first sparrow Saturday. Sorry not coming before then guys - I won't have a battery in the car until late Friday evening.

The weather on my app is constantly changing.

Lets see where we are....I mean when is the weather ever right!

I plan on going Saturday morning pay to get in but hold off from signing on until I know for sure we can run.

Its happened to me before when it was supposed to rain it never did and the place was dead and had loads of runs!

I will review the situation on Friday.

For me it is 130 miles each way so not just round the corner!

At the moment and for the last couple of days they have been forecasting heavy rain from Friday afternoon, all during the night and showers during Saturday.

If Saturday is pants but the weather forecast for Sunday is clear then I will come down Saturday afternoon.

This is a real shame as I've been looking forward to this for a few weeks now as I'm sure everyone else has.
