Hi,

Do anyone know where to get a Cerb 4.2L Master cylinder sealing kit? (couldn't find any on e-bay. could only find seals for the slave).

Is there alternative seal kit there will fit in the original master cylinder?

I just had following reply Powers Performance:

"there is not a seal kit available for this cylinder. you would have to replace the complete unit" (price 70£)

Is that true, can't the seals in the master cylinder be changed?

I thought I had seen someone mentioning that they had changed the seal only (at a very modest cost)

I believe you can but I would always replace the whole unit.

PITA John to do so rather than pitt new seals in an old unit and risk future premature leaks I would change the whole thing.

You can find the whole thing cheaper than £70 as well if you look at non TVR parts places.

I believe this is the correct one. £10. I threaded the holes to make fitting it easier. No need for wedged in spanners.
