Squeals when starting from cold - new belt and tensioner.
Discussion
I'd crush some chalk or similar and sprinkle a bit on the belt as it spins, you might have some lubricant or other contaminating substance causing the partial spin at start up. You've checked all pulley wheels spin freely and don't grumble as in iffy bearings.
A fine dust of chalk will soon work itself away but is very effective at this around said pulley wheels. Old school and adjusting the tensioner position sounds more like the thing to do. Have you any oil leaks that might splash or find its way onto ,,,,
Only since fitting A/C
Scrap that then
"Make sure your brain is engaged before putting your mouth into gear"
Hope you cure it with the tensioner

The squealing was getting worse starting from cold with the ac on, so a guy servicing the ac decided to change the belt for a 2075, that's 15mm shorter than the size that TVR parts sent me (2092).
Well, the squealing has stopped completely, even if I start it from cold with the ac on, so that seems to have solved that issue.
Thing is, he has put a 6 grooved belt on (couldn't find a 7 grooved one here).
It seems OK, as I said, but is it necessary to order a 7 groove belt online, or will this be fine as it is?
