Surprised this good looker has not gone
Discussion
I'm thinking its the silver Cerb you are talking about?
If it is yes it looks quite nice but agree I'd have to sort the inside colour out.
Comment I saw from the seller was concerns that he had no history previous to his seven year ownership. The chassis is original and no rebuild work mentioned from memory but been resprayed for the right reasons.
It looks a decent bet from afar for entry into cerb ownership.
If its not this one I've been talking a load of bks.

I actually went to see it in person and he took me for a spin.
It seemed solid and sound only the lack of history putting me off and waiting it out.
The rear carbon windscreen strip was missing, bit of work required on the passenger side dash trim. Some rework door cards. A relay had blown at some point on the light module leaving the burn signs on the loom (apparently this relay goes often - I don't know).
I was tempted but just couldn't get rid of the thought of no service history and decided it wasn't worth it in the end.
It was previously on at 16k, then 17k offers invited and then finally and briefly on ebay for £15k no offers with a description that this was the final sale price and that it would go into storage if it didn't go.
Since then I looked around at other cerbera's and a tamora in better nick for more money but worth the extra for the history and condition.

Rear carbon windscreen trim is missing as I suspect its had a new rear window, or the trim was removed for painting, which is when they get broken. Possibly same for the front ones? They are really hard to come by.
The red interior is very red, but thats a marmite thing. You could like it or get a whole retrim.
Which brings it to the mechanicals. Chassis would need a good lookover on the outriger corners, having seen mine rot out without warning from the top as the initial damage point was hidden. It's got no aircon compressor, not sure if it never had it or removed. With no service history it needs a good look over.
But priced at £15k is about right?

Mine is the same colour scheme but with grey carpets and looks fine.
A very recent lack of service history is a disadvantage but why worry about what happened 7 years ago, if it goes now it is solid. When I bought mine it had a very sketchy service history as it had all been done by the owner but i did a very careful inspection and it had obviously been well looked after. The main check i did was to start the engine and then leave it idling for about 20 mins while i pushed and prodded everything. Oil pressure and water temp were rock solid and I bought it on the spot. 7 years and a lot of track time later I still hasn't had a big bill.

What about having no service history during the last 7 years? I understand the valve train/cams needs checking on these carsA very recent lack of service history is a disadvantage but why worry about what happened 7 years ago, if it goes now it is solid. The valve clearances are an item on a 12k service. If it's had a 12k service done less than 12k ago then it's all good and in my view, especially if the service was done by a respected TVR indie. As the cams have to come out to swap shims to restore the correct valve clearance the condition of the cams, bearing surfaces and cam followers will be obvious and whoever carrys out the service can act/ advise the owner appropriately as well as picking up any other issues with the car, corrosion etc. If the car hasn't has a 12k service recently it might be worth having a discussion as part of purchase negotiations to get one done. APM and Mat Smith Sports Cars charge 750 for a 12k service. Not sure what Str8 Six and TVR Power charge.
The first thing i did to mine once i got it was to do a 24k service. i found that it had never had the valves adjusted but a few evenings work and it was fine. It didn't seem to have done it any harm that half the inlets had no clearance at all. This was best part of 15k miles 7years ago.
