If it isn’t tvr specific Have you tried looking at Rover and Land Rover type vehicles that had a lt77 fitted?
Even base model xj6 series 3 jags had the lt77 fitted. The auto jags had a slightly different fixing but can be modified to fit a jag lt77, provided that drive gear hasn’t worn.

that part you show is not for the speedo it is the gearbox driven sender that talks to the ecu the one that keeps the revs annoyingly high till the vehicle stops the one for the speedo on the the lt77 setup is mounted in a bracket vertically above the rear uj on the prop shaft and has a trigger wheel mounted between the flange to the diff and the prop shaft flange.

I haven't, was hoping to "find" a TVR one so I knew it would pop straight in, correct ratio, plug etc.

I think it is, it's all I've got?

Speedo is reading double, presume I have an 8 pulse and need a 4?

Had a look around for SD1 transducers and unless you want to pay huge amounts of money, the price you have seems cheap, believe it or not. The Wedge boys have the same problem and David Gerald TVR has had some batch produced. They cost, sitting down?, £180. Don't know what pulse they are though.

Rimmer Bros are out of stock.

I did eventually manage to find a supplier in America (lost the site now) but they were well over twice D.G's price. eek

Yes,a friend had one from them, an 8 pulse and at that price I haven't bothered ask if they also had some 4's made!

next step is phone TVR Parts and see if they actually have one?

Just taken another look on their website, 8 pulse is £180 (same as DG) and 4 pulse is "only" £132 wink
