its a ginetta g40 gt5 race car its run by fox motorsport for nick so not so easy to get it up for the track day as it will be on its way to rockingham for the second round.

The answer to your question is yes, Daz, on certain track days race cars are permitted.
When you are booking a track day, some days are described as "no race cars" and the cars must be road legal, taxed and MOT'd. Sometimes they even specify no trailers, depends on the organiser.
Other days are described as "general car track day". Anything can be run.

Been unable to timetable in the jobs on the car before the 26th so, regretably, I'm out.

Looks like the 28th and 29th will see the jobs done and then I'm off on the the Eurotour.

These days are few and far inbetween really and just like the drag days more a chance to be in a group having a ball.
Someone mentioned going on a trackday without other Tvr mates is crap, he’s absolutely right.

Don't think I will be able to make this one, the car is having a little tweak to the map if it's done I will be there, but with a good weather forecast it will no doubt be sold out.

Only about half sold at the moment. Weather cool but dry.

Had mine tweaked on Monday to allow for the new manifolds.

A little tweak perhaps wasn't quite the right phrase, I have a really good map for b road blasts and trackdays, I'm having another more economical map for euro tour's.
Just thought I could pick it up Thursday morning do the trackday then drop it back after if they haven't finished it, I will speak to them Monday and see if it's doable.

to be honest i am a bit disappointed with the number of tvrs booked thought the chance to show off your turboes blowers tuning in general would have cajoled a few more to come along i have tried to get a few interested but to no avail i am afraid, hopefully a few might turn up in the coming 3 days.
