As is common, my walnut dash is cracked next to the ventilation controls, so want to change it. Looking for inspiration.

I was originally going to keep with the wooden dash and then add a wooden rim/polished spoke steering wheel as I think the black wheel jars.

Metal I am not sure about, not because I don’t like it, but because It might be OTT in a lighter interior....I do like the basket weave finish though.

Any other ideas?

I tried to re-veneer mine and failed. Stripped it of and covered it in black Alcantara which came out nice.
The rest of my dash mouldings are covered in two shades of grey so the black works well for me.
For yours the black could offset your concerns with the wheel being black.

I also don't think the carbon or brushed/machine turned ali is right.

Mine's a metal dash in a light interior. It's mostly Portland Grey, which does go with the brushed alloy. The dash is the original one, as it came out the factory BTW.

For the money I thought there was little point in trying a coating and just bought a replacement from TVR MADS in Bradford. was pretty easy to fit just time consuming and a little nerve racking bending it to fit. just take plenty of pics of how it's put together and the wire placements.

They do look good with the contrasting colours.

What's the story with the digital gauges?

hhmmm, some good options above, but, I think being subtle about any changes are best. try not to sway too far from what would perceived to be a 'factory' looking finish. Otherwise it's too personal and interest is lost and things become tasteless. Bit like tattoo's and tee-shirts. just because you like it today, doesn't mean you will like it in a few years time. With a tee shirt, you can change it. IYSWIM
With that colour interior, I'd go for new walnut finish dash and look at changing the colour of the steering wheel, get that re-trimmed and cover the instrument binnacle in something maybe. PS; don't go to usual suspects on steering wheel retrim, I was left very dis-appointed as it was, well, shyte. Welcome to PM should you wish. I told them I would

I changed dash top and steering wheel colour, also had extra gauges made to match the original factory items. Not the best picture, sorry.

I like that dash top. I bet it cuts down on reflections a load.

What's do the lights/buttons on the steering wheel do?

^^^^ Thanks, yes it did cut glare out. The buttons on steering wheel are for 3 stage adjustable boost. red for up, green for down. On start up it always resorted to lowest setting.
