Reckon they would be great camping lights clipped to the car battery as they take up no space.

Nice idea, for the French homologation, the previous owner had put external lights which are a bit ugly. I'm planning to revert to a back light plate, those LED panels seem perfect. I just have to find a translucide plate with French fonts and layout.

Could you not modify the Fiesta light cluster and have these (or ones of closer matched sizes) right behind the lenses? or maybe the aftermarket Afterburner lights if you don't mind the style.

I'd bought some of these ring LED and some spare rear Mk2 lights to see if I could fit them inside the Lucas lenses but they don't fit and I trashed a set of red lenses in my attempt.

Can you wire the 12v cob units straight in without a driver? I might look at the 200mm x 10mm red one as a high level brake light.
