Exhaust Y-Piece wanted [cheap if poss, as i wish to modify]

As per the title. I want to keep my original [for mot time] but i would like to modify another Y.piece.

I intend to cut it open to remove the cat, and then modify the shape into a reducing cone and bend at the bottom.

I have read posts where others have removed the cat then simply weld back up again, but the sound isnt too good ?

Pretty sure they have some 2nd hand at TorqueRVT at Middlewich which isn't far from you. Might be worth giving them a call/email.
