Keep the Chim.
I’ve got a mate who does a nice line in gold chains if you do decide to go macho and by a Griff rofl

And I’ve got a mate who knows a bloke that makes chest wigs...

Correct me if I’m wrong but the banter tailed off when it dawned on the Griff boys how much slower than us they were on track scratchchin

Matthew P, love him, such a great guy, but my granny drives faster than him, despite the fact she never learnt to drive and died in 1991 whistle

It will be interesting to see if, having spent all that money on what will be a fantastic car, he will actually find the courage to put his helmet on in it.
It will only take some yoof in a £50 Fiesta to trash all his dreams

Some banks now let you pay cheques in via the phone app.

I have a Halifax account for exactly this purpose...cheque received from DVLA, open Halifax app, take photo of the cheque...done!
That's amazing and would save a lot of time. I don't suppose Barclays do it, I must enquire.
HSBC do it, haven't tried it, will do one day but I'm old so prefer to take the cheque into another local bank (I have an account there too) then transfer it to the HSBC account.
(HSBC your world bank, the nearest is over 80 mile and two and a half hours away from me).

Hi Chris, long time! Haven't seen you on here for awhile.

Did you end up selling the Chim?
Unfortunately. Had to sell it to cover court costs over my daughter following separation. Still got that bug though. Keep meaning to pop into Fernhursts when I’m down that way and stick my head in a few... ahh, that smell! Hope is all well with you and the family.

They do smilehttps://www.barclays.co.uk/ways-to-bank/mobile-ban...

With all the money and time you'll now save by not having to drive to the bank you can keep the car... hehe
That is damn useful! Thanks for that .
As long as you sell the car for less than £500 or the seller is happy to submit lots of £500 cheques.

I'll give you £550 cash! wink

From Barcalys website:
How much?
Pay in sterling cheques up to £500 each – four cheques every seven days if you’re a Personal or Premier customer, and 20 if you’re a Business customer

I just realised the limit this morning as I tried to upload a cheque for £540 refund from the local authority and of course I couldn’t! Another visit to our part-time bank that has blocked up the letterbox so you can’t even deposit cheques out of hours which is more convenient.

I read this as I'm on a court room lunch break for the same. Only 5 and half years and A LOT of money.....so I hope you won your case after selling the chim dude rolleyes

Ps. I'd of had to sell mine except it's been in bits for a couple of years so physically couldn't! Lol

Original low mileage seats recovered from the loft and given the dust off. Will probably fit them tomorrow.

Here's a question, what's the thoughts about standard seats and keep the rollbar?

Gut feeling is to put in the standard seats and remove the rollbar to give the car a standard look.

.....and offer the Chimaera seats as an option or a cost extra.

Frankly, I suspect you would get a lot more for the Elise seats than for the Chimaera ones, even though from a smaller marketplace.

I suspect the buyer of your car will have owned one before and will be aware of what he is buying, so will want both sets anyway.
