How wire up the boot solenoid?

Sorry for the very basic electrical question but what is the most reliable way to connect the two wires from the new boot solenoid to the existing wiring? We got the solenoid from TVR parts and you can see the terminals are small cylinders with a rubber boot that slide over it.

I'm not sure if the two metal terminals from the new solenoid is supposed to be crimp to the existing wires to preserve the existing connector/plug or I need to change the terminals to a different type.

Sorry I'm not familiar with automotive electrical terminals.
