Interesting suggestion, though the intake route from stock is designed to avoid the hot exhaust system, and a centre-feed plenum would make it a direct issue.

On the SC second plenum, what are the additional pipe connections?
One appears to be the rocker cover breather pipe, but the bigger one isn't clear?

How is SC boost changed/limited on this application? Drive pulley ratio/size? I assume it would need remapping afterwards...
At what power level does this particular housing size limit things?

Yes, I added a turbo to mine and an Emerald ECU, bigger brakes and after market dampers.

The Emerald makes it more reliable and smoother. Is it worth the money? Maybe.
The cost lies as much in the mapping as the kit itself. Mine does run very nicely.
Did you leave any of the cats in? How do you get on at MOT time with emissions?
Do you have a 'turbo-timer' to allow cooling of the turbo after engine switch-off? How easy would it be to incorporate one of those?
Is that too many questions? nerd

I removed the cats, as there was nowhere to put them.
I got on ok at MOT time initially, but it has been getting more difficult with time.
My turbo and an oil issue caused an engine failure.

Also, my main serious driving was on track days, and the turbo was ok at lower boost, but at higher boost the engine overheated too quickly.
When I broke the engine there was other stuff going on too, including considering moving to France.
While that plan has now been abandoned for a number of reasons, it did cause me to re-assess my turbo and decide to rebuild the engine as a non-turbo, 275 bhp 4.6. with a view to ease of exporting the car or just selling it.

Frankly, while I can tell the difference between turbo and no turbo, the difference wasn't night and day.
And also my freinds and I have all moved on somewhat as life progresses.
I hardly know any TVR owners these days, and may well sell the car soon.
The last two track days I slightly wondered why I was there.
It was the friends who made the track days such fun.

My wife has been very patient during my TVR phase, but I owe it to her to do more of the things that she and I enjoy doing together.
To which end I have recently bought a 4.4 diesel Range Rover to go with our touring caravan.
We feel the open roads beckoning, just us, the dog and 516 lbs ft of torque smile .
