So, mega lurk mode dis-engage here, as new job, home stuff and KoVidd has really stopped me doing much.

I had posted previously of some work I had done - suspension overhaul, headlights from Steve H and so many other small projects, but yesterday I really got back into it. And I am thinking if I keep an update of what I am doing here, it will shame me into finishing it!!!!

I had removed all the loud exhaust stuff (already sold) and have gone back to 'almost' stock. Full cats (inc pre) and semi sleeved rear box.

Carpets had already been ripped out - new set installed partly - just floor areas to do and those two odd bits. Had to buy a new ECU as the other one toast......

Tidied up wiring in footwell - it was a mess.

As is:-

To Do:-
Pass seat refurb
Full dash refurb - bottom and top
New seat belts
Finish carpet installation
Walnut veneered dash to install - both of them
And a whole host of other small fixes.....

Hope you all are ok for those who remember me!
Phil (Nosh).

I remember your name from many, many moons ago, so good to see that you're back on the case with the TVR.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading the updates, as and when. thumbup

quick update - some dash rebuilding today.

The lower dash has been refurbed and some newly veneered upper dash installed. Just some wiring challenges with the heater knob on the dash panel - didn't get a photo of that one! Grrrrrrrr.

The cockpit will look brand new when its finished......

Looks really good. That is my winter job. Where did you get the carpets as that is the same colour scheme that I need.

Re: the carpet questions....

I got these from http://www.dctrim.co.uk/ - they are ex-TVR carpet and hood fitters. Have all the old patterns and mine fitted lovely - all were 'oversize' and needed some trimming. Piping where it should have been. Good quality as well.....

I think the colour is claret - or burgundy wine or something like that.

I've fitted several of DC Trms carpet sets and they go in very nicely. They take a while to do but that may just be me.

Keep these coming, great motivation and great work.

What did you clean/repair the door panels with? Furniture clinic kit or just a good clean?

Cheers - yes, trusty Furniture clinic stuff.

I had to use that for all the wrong reasons though - FC didn't have on record my colour from a previous bit of work, even though I gave them the code. So, the colour I have now is subtly different - so, everything light creme is being recoloured and refreshed so it looks uniform.

That includes both seats! Had to repair the underneath of the Drivers (again) as all the wores were virtually gone. Although heath and robinson, its pretty good and the seat feels so much better to sit in!

Some more shots...
