Has anyone changed their 2 hard copper pipes on a Chim rack for 2 flexible pipes.?
Hottest day of the year so far and spent the day getting the rack out what a nightmare of a job.
Hoses off Y piece off still fouling so cross member off. Yes I did take it out the top bend track rod and pull it out upwards.
All because of the copper pipes foul everything I know you could take them off and refit but I don't want to be refitting after I rebuild the rack.
So has anyone successfully changed too flexible pipes if so where did you get them and the fittings?
Think this will make removal and refitting easier.

I remember people doing it in the past so do a search and you should find sizes. Any Hyd hose company could make them up.

I had to laugh at your comments. It’s a bd of a job with the brass pipes fitted I know that.
I felt like an incompetent fool as I spent bloody ages trying to prise the thing out so your not alone.
You deserve a beer thumbup

Yes it is a pig of a job I have done searches but seems people send their racks away.
I must be a glutton for punishment wanting to do it myself.smash
