Andy, try talking to some other local small to medium businesses. Often they have extra space that they don't use and if you negotiate you can often get it at a much reduced price. it also means you're not working alone which can be really depressing.
Also means you have an extra pair of hands or two when needed to lift big heavy things for no extra cost other than maybe a beer or two.

Yeah, I was thinking how could they do it for the money as well. I assumed that there was some kind of trade secret to doing the job without removing body from chassis.
Some people will cut the glass fibre from inside the car to get to the outriggers, then repair the GRP once the welding is done.
yikes dont like the sound of that at all...?
How would they make sure the underside of the fibreglass was sealed as well???
you could end up with water getting into the fibreglass and causing damage...

Cloggy - OK - So the may deadline has passed and it is not on the road.

Paul - No - I wont be bringing it to the meeting on sunday but i might bring clare and ruby along to say hello as we havent been along for ages.

Ian - you havent got enough cylinders to play!!! tongue out

OscarT - No problem at all, she is only 3 months old and i should have it running in a minute - that will give me 4 years to get it running properly...damn...!!!
