I would like to thank all who helped me with advise about a Chimp.
I collected my 450 in bright yellow on Saturday from Dove House Cars Northhampton. Its a 98 S with 12k.
It is ~#[=;+= awsome.
Can anyone tell me about meet days etc.
Thanks again
Vincen

Vince,

Congrats, I'm sure you're as delighted as I was when I picked my baby up. The best thing of all, it's been as good every time I've been out in her since.
Where are you based? There's a club in most regions and the usual advice applies - join the TVR Car Club, good value and they're really nice people to deal with. I've also noticed that this forum is very helpful for just about any Chimaera query.

Cheers,

Steve

Vince,

Assuming you've bought the car from Dove House Cars, are you based in Northants.

I only ask because there is a branch of the TVRCC in Northants. I've not been to any club meets at all yet, and toying with either attending the Northants club (I live In Milton Keynes) or the London / City club, since thats where I work...

Enjoy hours of Tony Blair style grins....

Vince, many congratulations. I know you'll have enormous fun!

Just, please, don't call this magnificent car a chimp...

What is Dove House cannot be a TVR dealer or I am loosing it. Anyway, I know I won't regret it... just means I'll spend a bit less money on my funeral!

All right then, I'll spell it out. It was advertised at Dove House for £18,500. ie £4,500 less. OK? Just filling you in on the facts. Vince might have paid less than that. Don't get Good luck to him.

Remember, you own one and I don't! So you get to smile every day and I don't ... yet!

Mikey

It ain't that bad as the cars comes with plenty of extras which means that all I should have to do in the next 12 months is check the oil and feed the beast with Optimax - optimistic nature...
Anyway I will certainly wish good luck to any new TVR driver - even if he's proved more clever than me !

... would also add that your Mustang does really sound like a fantastic car. Hard to beat in term of exclusivity and filled with myths and legends.
