Before I go out and get some new shox for my Griff I would like to know what you folks think are the best ones to buy for road use. Should I also replace the springs?

avo's are good and inexpensive and fully adjustable for bounce/rebound and ride height

What Pete is politely saying is that AVOs seems to suit Wedges but not other TVRs...

I have run AVOs on the 520 for some time but I am switching to GAZ shocks from Tower View (www.t-v-r-services.co.uk). About the same price as AVOs but with a lot better perfromance. Fully adjustable including ride height. I know they have just brought out a set for Griif/Chim to go with Wedeges and S series. As for springs... probably worth doing as they are not expensive and do get old.
