Hi Al,

well as my car doesnt even have the remains of these it probably never had them in the first place.. however for the sake of completeness a pattern would be much appreciated..

Cheers,
Matt.

No problems Matt, drop me your address via email and I'll pop a couple of ears in the post!

Found some 1/16th neoprene rubber!

Hi Al.

I tried emailing you, but I think it's not getting through.

I'd love a copy of the template too if you can send me one (email address in profile). Also, where's the best place to get some of this rubber (apart from another Chimaera you're passing in the street ).

Trefor,
Was at Fernhurst this morning and was discussing this with the chaps there.
They say something like an old bicycle inner tube will do it.
Not sure if it will work, but I could scan my template and upload it to my website so you can all download it - worth a try?

Don't panic Guys, I have found some 1/16th thick neoprene rubber, so I can send a few pairs out already cut.

Just drop me a mail with your address and I'll pop them in the post!

Just one word of warning Brian at Fernies did tell me that, I makes the Targa more difficult to fold down!

Don't think they do Snorky, mine has evidence of them being on there before but never in my ownership.

Good point re the folding Al, but got to be worth it for a dry interior.

Was also discussing a zip out clear rear screen, would make the whole folding process much easier IMO, I have the number of a trimmer and Fernies also say they would have a go at it. All I need is to pluck up the courage to get it done!

Sorted with a template thanks Al.
Guys at Fernies were amused this morning as to how quick this had taken off.
I'm currently trying to get a template up on my website which people can download, print and use themselves. Except bleedin website is messing around right now!

What have you started!!!!

OK so I may have managed to do it.
If you want a template try www.final-design.com/misc.htm there you should see a link to the template you can download.
When I look at it from this end I don't see the picture but it does work, can anyone who tries this feedback with comments as to how it works?

Big Al, not trying to steal your thunder here mate. Oh

Thanks for the consideration .Mark, no problems.
One of the things I enjoy about this forum is the friendship and teamwork that's evident on the majority of posts.

The way I look at it is, we all have a common goal, and the more we can help each other the better. OH
