mmm great, just spoken to Pro Rally and there is now a slight difference between 17 and 18in wheels due to new moulds being made. ( us this due to the cracking problem on tuscans?) so it might be all 17 or all 18in rims... prices look good though.. You mention a 6mm spacer, could this be made up with adding 6mm to the ofset making it 41mm front... G

Graham, i) Pete has 17" all round caht to him ii) there is a Griffith in this months Sprint with 18" all round, the guy is D Puddick, comes from the Essex region of the TVRCC but isn't on e-mail. I chatted to him at Silverston and he has 235x18 fronts. Clive Zertec Reed probabaly knows him. iii) Re the spacers yes but subtract don't add i.e. 40mm less 6mm = 34mm not 41mm. A larger offset put more wheel inside the arch, the spacer is to move it back out. Rich...

>>3) I fitted a 6mm spacer to cure this >>8) Standard offsets are 25mm front and 40mm rear but I am running 35mm at the front to get a bit more clearence. >>Re the spacers yes but subtract don't add i.e. 40mm less 6mm = 34mm not 41mm mmm now im confused... you say standard front offset is 25, but you have 35 for extra clearance, then use a 6mm spacer which takes it back to 29mm.... or am i loosing the plot here.. sorry to be a pain Pete Best, you out there can i have a picky of your 17" wal@mobit.co.uk what offset do you use? Ta all. p.s. i fancy Gold as the car is dark Grey.....

mmm ta, I might go for the 17" they look fine and a little less wonga, 18" all round sounds a little tight at the front, and i do think i prefer the idea of the same size wheel front and rear. I think diff sizes look better on a griff as it flows with the shape..

OK Chaps Here we go again. It looks like 17"s raceline RL 7's all round on my chim. Could anyone confirm the wheel size, offset, spacer size if required, and tyre size front and rear. so that I can finally get some prices sorted. Cheers

Rich Yes I got your mail, Many thanks for the info. you say that you have 245-40-17 tyres all round, is this correct ? I have see many 235's but not many 245's. what type of tyres are you using ? how is the tram lining ?

Since you guys are buying new wheels, you'll have some old wheels left over. Does anyone here have a set of standard Chim wheels for sale?
