Found out a little more about the price of this today. Word from the stand was that dont expect it to be under £100k and think more current SS price. Thats a whole big difference from the previous mentioned prices.
That's what happens when lots if people rush to stick a deposit down. People start thinking there is a lot more margin to be had. This'll squeeze a few deposits out.

No, that's what happens when the Engineers and the Accountants do an actual proper costing! As opposed to the marketing guys blue sky pricing!! This'll squeeze a few deposits out.
If it comes in under £130k, I'll eat my hat...

It'll be a combination of both. But the sudden clamour to place deposits will have shown they had the pricing too low. If it comes in under £130k, I'll eat my hat...
They'll want to up the price to try and get demand to roughly match supply. No point selling a limited supply for £75k if the demand means you could sell at double that and still have it exceed supply.
You're probably right on the final price.
Next is to guess the year of delivery.

That's about what they told me too. (Off the record of course.)The good news is that they expect it to be more spacious that anything else in their range. Which if you saw me have a go at fitting in the 3 wheeler, you'd appreciate I like the sound of. (I'm 6'8'', and wasn't even close.)
Not heard a peep about anything from Morgan apart from first letter with my number etc. They did say they planned to hold a party/reception once the model mock up returned to the UK but guess that never happened! Price is a concern yes, not least from an affordability point of view, but also head north of £100k and suddenly the car being powered by a cooking BMW unit seems to make far less sense.

For one of their cars they are currently investigating VVT on a 2.2 Duratec engine but I don't know for which model(s) they would utilise this in if they found it to be suitable, or whether it is just an investigative exercise.
This is the Mazda -derived engine which they are currently using in the Plus4 SSNo knowledge of it being trialled in any other car - but that proves nothing, I guess!

That would make sense. Maybe it is the VVT system they are trialling if it's not already on the engines? No knowledge of it being trialled in any other car - but that proves nothing, I guess!

Sadly all manufacturers need to explore maxing outputs from smaller and smaller capacities to avoid EU taxes etc.
Interestingly I see Williams have an £80k price up for ordering a GT. Now Im presuming this is sans VAT, but even so that comes to under £100k.
At that money and with just the 300pony i30 engine, not the 335 pony i35is SDrive ITV BBC C4OD engine or even the V8, the GT is starting to write cheques that Im not entirely sure it holds the balance to cash.
