Are you in Australia, not because of the orientation, but because of the third brake light.

Ok great, what rv8's do you have?

Just saying hello with my new BGT project... wavey

1973 BGT in Black Tulip with the impossible to replace Ochre interior, initial plan is to do a 'light touch' tart-up and use it for a while before looking at a more extensive restoration. All the usual rust in all the usual places so a good project on which to learn to weld thumbup

Keep it unique and purple, resist the change to the common colours, it's such a 70's color and looks the part 👍

Don't worry, I love the combination of the Black Tulip with the Rostyle wheels, that will be staying in all its 1970's loveliness. I may go with a tan interior given the difficulty getting Ochra seat covers but otherwise I'll keep it stock.

Cheers, not a fan of major modifications so I'll be keeping the 4 pot in the MG, I like my classics to feel like they would when new, of their era if you like.

Yes, the MG shares garage space with my 570s McLaren, another reason I don't feel the need for extra speed in the MG thumbup

Fair enough smile you've got the best of both worlds there. Ive got an all original time warp one owner from new ( dad bought it , still in his name for now) falcon gt from 1970 that I would never change from factory.

Cant afford a mclaren yet so I souped up the rv8.

The V6 could well be the performance bargain of the year.

1.8 turbo good donor for a tF.

Diesel good family run about.

Since cleaning the plug to the fuel pump mine has been just fine (typical BL) but I have ordered a filter set and pump just in case it's the inter part of the mittent. wink

Hello all. Back in the MG fold after 16 years. I picked this up on Saturday from CCH in Hull. And I’m very pleased with it!

Very similar to the surveyors car, though it's a V8 and very much not a project. Previous owner spent a fortune!

Promised myself one years ago - finally decided.to do it. Absolutely cracking machine!

A few tasteful tweaks so far, moto-lita wheel, locking fuel.cap & nice.wooden knob to go with the wheel..

Tempted by electronic ignition - both for.ease but also the immobiliser capability...
