I am about to start bolting all my restored bits onto a heritage shell.

I have the haynes manual and restoration manual, also, the book Practical classics did on a restoration.

Just before I start the work, are there any good blogs or videos out there which have a good critical path thought out, e.g.. engine in AFTER front axle? I know it is not rocket science but I have been known to get things in the wrong order!!

Cheers

Front axle/subframe thing first. The steering column goes under one of the engine mounts, so that next!

Have a look for an Mg is born either on repeat on Discovery channel or possibly you tube. I think it's mostly built in order and fairly informative.

2. Fuel tank
3. Brake/Clutch cylinders, servo and heater box [you'll need to climb into engine bay when fitting heater box as the new rubbers make it a very tight fit]

5. Engine ancillaries
6. Fuel lines
7. Brake lines, fluid an bleed
8. Exhaust
9. Electrics and buzz out/check all electrical functions

12. Set-up suspension geometry
13. Interior and chrome fittings [don't forget to waxoyl the body holes where the chrome/stainless swage strips are fitted!][and thoroughly protect behind the front wing panel cover area]
