Hi all,

Is there anyone around these parts that worked at MG in the late 70s, in the test/development area at Gaydon? Reason for asking is that my B was used for development work by the factory 1978-1980. There's some history of what it was used for etc etc in a handwritten journal, but I'm keen to see if there's anyone around who actually remembers it "back in the day"?

As well as at Gaydon, it also went away for specific testing at places such as MIRA, Pirelli, Longbridge and elsewhere. Were photos likely to have been taken during, say, noise testing, or tyre tests, in the late 70s?

I uploaded some of the info I have to the web today ( http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/mgb-roadster.htm), but I'm keen to find out what else might be out there that relates to this B?

Hopefully I posted in the correct place!!

thanks, RJ

Interesting stuff, just had a read of your link as well. Post the same on the MG Experience website, being of US spec, there are plenty of US members and hughly knowledgable people from all over, on the forums and someone is bound to have more info on it. smile
