Hi.
Time for new wheels & tyres.
New wheels on way & am looking at 155/80/13 tyres.
Does anyone have any recent experience.
Do not want to over stick the car but good wet weather breaking a bonus.
Any input much appreciated.
Regards.
Mark

Now finding a delay on the 80 profile would 70 make that much difference e.g. filling of the wheel arch & gearing ?

The original tyres would be 145/80/13, using one of the many on-line tyre calculator gives a circumference of 69.5", changing to 155/80/13 would increase that to 71.5", using 155/70/13 would give 67.6". So you can go up by 2" or down by 1.9" the choice is yours, less then 3% either way.

Over the years I've used a range of wider wheels and tyres on my Sprites with no problems - apart from on some front wheels, the steering track rod bolt, can catch on the inside of the wheel rim.
