They deserve their own races thats for sure, So many good 3 pedallers going un-heralded and left out of word restrictions in reports......V good clubmans times for clubmans races aswell smile . Sounds Good to me,for so many reasons.

What/Who has prompted this suggestion or is it just a question?

Here's mine (and again, is it a suggestion or a question?) directed at Competitors rather than 'Spanners' ..........

Club is for the 'Amateur Clubman'.

UK is for anyone who is not/does not qualify as an 'Amateur Clubman'.

Quite right, Tried to treat it as question/ rumour / suggestion/ possibly even answer!, to start of thread, and after hearing so many views of lots of Drivers over a few years in both championships with all respects due.p.s retired spanner/ bottle washer...smile

It was more of an observation / question.
It seems that UK Cup is becoming more for SR8 and ......Clubman's is for SR3

Not sure Clubmans Cup is named to suit the level of driver....there some handy drivers doing it.....More of a Solo series....One driver on one day....Still get home to have Sunday lunch

It was interesting to see Matt's BHGP laps before the thread disappeared from here to compare with mine. A couple of places of much stronger apex speeds but most of the time difference is braking points. He's good!

How daft!! Sorry about the sycophantic comments BTW Matt! Fancy passing on how you got the breaking so good (to me obviously not the masses)?

'Dix Points' for "sycophantic" clap: as more palatable tea time alternative to their use of "Botticelli's illustration of Dante's Inferno shows insincere flatterers grovelling in excrement in the second pit of the eighth circle", I much enjoy Wiki's list of often used alternatives to 'obsequious flattery' as the definition of Sycophancy:

apple-polishing
ass kissing
ass licking
bootlicker
brown nosing
crawler
fawning
flunky
grovelling
hanger-on
kowtowing
lackey
lickspittle
sucking up
toady
yes man

But a big fat 'Zéro point' for "breaking". A mission too many across The Pond?

It could have been worse; here's a Magna Farta one just for you .............

You mean when 18/20 minutes plus one lap can seem like a lifetime with the added anxiety of finishing underweight in Parc Ferme?
