Hello,

After our first run in our "new" Radical SR3 a bolt inside the diff got lose and split/broke the housing, after X hours yelling at the diff we finally got it free, but the big bolt holding the ratio gear is stock.

If anyone have a trick to get it loose you most welcome biggrin

Thanks for the feedback, we will give it try.

Is there any risk trying to heat up the bolt, if we still cant get it lose?

You really shouldnt need to heat it up at all. An impact gun will have it off in a second.

Heat the nut for 30 seconds with light heat gun to warm up the thread lock, wifes hairdryer may do it if not a wall paper striper don't use flame. Wheel impact gun will get it off easily. I believe the nut has direction arrow on it.

Did you weld the cracks or did you have to replace the housing?
