I just phoned for an update.
Dan is apparently in hospital.
The lady I spoke to said all the documents were now done and they were starting to send them out.
I confirmed my email and she said she would get it out to me.
Fingers crossed !
I also notice an event on my credit history with Lex Autolease.

It may have been the stress.
She said he had a heart attack 5 years ago.
He may want to rethink his career !

Just got my finance docs through.
Need to sign and scan return.
But of a pain now im home. Will do at work on Monday.

Yep, got the finance docs through as well. The deal was very timely. Was about to extend my Tiguan lease when this came along and was feeling a bit nervous being in limbo, but it seems a bit more concrete now.

S5PJV - glad to see someone else sticking to the "no options" principle.

Out of interest, had anyone driven one of these XE's before? Are they any good? Or is that not the point of a lease deal thread?

I haven't driven one.
I've just been looking for something around that budget that wasn't too thirsty but wasn't a budget type car either.

Yep. No options.
I only opted for gloss black interior trim. And badge delete on the rear. Both no cost.
It's already quite well equipped.
