There’s a circular pop out thingy on the rear bumper any one found that there’s is a little loose and seems a bit cheaply installed

Also the engine revs quite high on start up before dropping the revs. I’ve never had this on any other car other than my mk 4 escort made in 1988 with a manual clutch !!

Yeah the high revs on start up is a bit annoying as it doesn't drop straight away. Which means I've had the car lurch a bit when pulling away.
Mines done 1200 miles now.
I haven't noticed any issues with my air con.

My roundel is as loose as a wizards sleeve. It moves freely when touched

I like the fact when the car is put into sports mode the dials turn red. I must admit it’s fun, if not a little mental in this mode. It pulls so fast from stationary that there’s a good probability of flying into the car in front. It’s quite a bit faster than the 150 bhp A4 we also have. The computers a bit naff in comparison otherwise it’s much more fun to drive. Takes me back to the rear wheel drive mx5 we used to have prior to kids

How's everyone getting on.
Mines just gone over 5k miles and I'm still happy.
In Eco mode and still only getting an average of 36-38Mpg though.

Anyone coming up to their first XE service yet? I've been emailed to say mine is due but thought it was every 2 years but that may be the diesel rather than petrol. If you are due have you got a quote yet? Looks like it may be around £300 mark!

Mines up for service now too, Does it have to be a jag dealership, or approved ones will do?

Yep. I was going to post the same. Mine says 800 miles until service due.
So must be set to yearly. I'm at 12k miles now.
I haven't looked at costs yet as it only just came up.
I'm thinking if I delay it and do it late.
Then hopefully year 2 won't be due before it goes back

I think you'll find that the Jaguar warranty requires the car to be serviced at stated times/mileages which if not met jeopardises the entire warranty. Delay.....is it worth the risk?

Just had my service and was told theirs a warranty recall. Fuel rail needs replacing due to leakage. Anyone else had this?

I still haven't got around to booking mine in for service. It's over due.
How much did you pay?

Paid £313 all in with Stratstone jaguar London. Really good service from them kept offering me cakes and coffee whilst waiting. Service took 1.5hours but system update took another hour.

Just had mine done.
£326 At Reading.
Has to go back for the fuel rail recall.
Also they couldn't reset the service indicator so they need to seek tech support.
Took nearly 3 hours !!!

I'm not extending.
A life style change means I'm likely going to buy a 3 year old Passat Alltrack.
£500 service !!
Hope mine doesn't come up. Else it will be going back and I'll pay the £300 penalty.
I did the first service a month late so hopefully be ok.
Paid for 30k miles but only done 21500 so far.
