Does anyone have any experience of fitting the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s to their XFR?
Rear tyres are 285/30 r20, fronts are 255/35 r20.

I’ve had the Dunlop Maxx, where the rear’s tend to squirm about on anything other than dry roads.
I’ve also had “cheap” ditch finders on there too, which weren’t too bad to be honest, if you take it easy.
But I now want something decent and the 4s seem to have very positive reviews.

However at £280 for the rears and just over £200 for the fronts (Costco prices), there are cheaper tyres out there.

Hi, I've heard a number of good things about the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I have Dunlops on my XF S and am happy with them but I would be tempted to try out MPSS next. MPSS looking abouit £230 a tyre, Dunlops £170 for the rears.

I replaced the Dunlops with Jag specific Pirelli PZero, JRS spec for the fronts and normal on the rears (the R-S has wider rears).
It has given the car loads more front end bite, and gives you more confidence to press on.

ooooh, these are nice!
I've replaced all 4 corners with the 4S (thanks to Costco), they are not even broken in yet and they grip like anything.
Less wheel spin at the rear, with less interaction from traction control.
So far, so good smile
