Following on from the successful threads for Volvo’s, Golf R’s etc, I thought I would start one for those of us that have FTQ for an I-Pace lease.

I particular to try and gain an understanding of delivery and build progress.

So mine was ordered on the 24th for deliver in April.

I have a jag order number, so fingers crossed.

What figures are PHers getting, I saw some numbers quoted in another thread and when I mentioned them to the Jag dealer in Belfast he nearly died laughing. If anyone can get me anything close to what was mentioned on the other thread, I’m in.

The offer was 1+17 @ £400 for 5k pa. iirc the fee was £230 ish.

The order had been placed with a Jag dealer in Manchester via Jaguar Contract Hire.

I think the deal closed on the 29th, but there was some suggestion that there might be something else in Q4.

I’d need a lot more than 5k pa, but to me the figures don’t add up on a 60k plus car. But finance isn’t my strong point, I’m old school and always pay up front, but these deals just seem too good to be true.

Have to add I was slightly disappointed in the interior, the red and black seats from an XE just didn’t fit with a car in that price bracket, much prefer the seats in our current XF, though I’m sure we could spec the car to our own liking, but for a demo the interior was a little low rent.

Horses for courses I guess. My mileage has taken a huge drop and 5-7k is what I am currently doing, I was after a lease and yes, I could have got someth8ng cheaper. But I fancied a full EV, I was looking at the Hyundai Kona, but the lease costs were significantly more expensive.

I thought it was too good to be true, but seems to be alright thus far.

I’d be very interested to hear how this works out for you. I’d love one if I could get anywhere near the figures quoted. It could be interesting to see how recent developments with Jaguar effect your delivery date.

The cars are made in Austria, some sort of subcontract deal

I wonder if the cheap leases were done to shift more 'S' models than they were seeing in retail

Where were these deals advertised, or was it invite only?

The Fleetprices deal was advertised for a number of weeks. I got in just before it was closed.

I have a white S model coming in April.

Cant wait.

Do you have a JLR order number? Or a build week yet?

Do you know the supplying dealer?

No, not yet.

I've got order confirmation from Fleetprices and paid their fee. I'm expecting an update before the end of this month though.

I'm in no rush as my current car doesn't go back until June, though i might give it back early, such is my want for the Ipace.

Indeed, it will be interesting to see how the lease companies attempt to factor this in.

I checked my contact last night and the price is not fixed until the finance is signed. If they don’t swallow it then (applying the same basis as options) it will be another £55pcm.....

Very nice event laid on by Jaguar. As for the I-Pace, well I was very impressed by the drive and handling of the car. The pace, performance and ride comfort were super impressive. Lovely sound from the motors under full acceleration.

All the cars were HSE spec level, so all toys and soft leather. But they were also fitted with air suspension and rode beautifully. It would be interesting to see what standard springs would be like. No wind noise or tyre roar. Very well, sound proofed.

Downsides. I found the seats uncomfortable, similar to the ones in my previous Discovery Sport. Too firm and cut into my thigh.

Not a huge fan of interior, bit to plasticy and old fashioned imho and not worthy of the +£70k price tag as driven.
