A proper paddy

My XKR threw a proper hissy fit today.

Abs fault
Cats fault
DSC fault
Head lamp fault light
CEL

Nothing untoward driving it the 3 miles home with a constant stream not faults screaming at me.

I think that was it. Low battery or is it about to expire?
2007 with 82k

I'm charging the battery with much hope. it's a new AGM that replaced a standard battery about 6 months ago as I had to constantly charge it.
The car does very few miles. 8 miles a day 2 days a week.

Please give me positive vibes.

Hope it is battery my xkr suffered alternator failure and i lost dash completely wipers started working on their own battery lasts very little time after alt failure to be fair only real issue in six years of ownership ,great car.

Took it off charge this morning and same faults on startup.
Talking to my trusted mechanic, he thinks it could be the abs sensor as the faults are linked.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery to clear the fault lights? If they come on again with a healthy battery then it sounds like a sensor as you said.

FWIW the XK150 is a pretty reliable car, providing of course the battery is in good condition. Hope you get it sorted easily.

I'll give that a go. I have ordered the plug in Bluetooth obd port device to see what is flagged up.
Sensors look cheap and I see there are some recommendations to clean the sensors too so I'll give that a go.
I did have new front tyres fitted 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping it says a front sensor is at fault as it could've been knocked.

The fault came back after disconnecting the battery so it's definitely another issue.

Looking for sensors on British Parts there are 2 for the rear for the 2007 XKR.
One sensor on its own and one with a lead.

How do I know which one is the right one for mine?

I'll get the OBD reader tomorrow and hopefully will confirm what is at fault and want to get the sensors ordered as soon as I know.

Just had a recap attachment is from an article from jaguar world 2014 regarding possible corrosion on earth point in front wheel arch may have to remove liner also if you have access to a Dvm you can check battery volts when running should be at or near 14v dc also I purchased an I car soft diagnostic reader for jaguar on Amazon for about 95£ well with it diagnosed a faulty rear parking sensors which completely disabled both front and rear sensors best of luck

To close this off, it was the rear left ABS sensor as the OBD scanner and torque app told me. Best £15 I've spent in a long time!

Swapped it without having to remove the wheel. A call to Jag Coventry helped as a very helpful Harvey told me the code will reset itself after a short drive. Which it did!
Although I'm glad I didn't have to take it to them for a deeper scan or reset as it's £192!

As the sensor was only £18 I'm thinking I'll replace the RHS one too...

Had the same issue in my X350 (which uses the same type of sensor). I replaced it with a cheapo one for £18, but it failed again within a year. This time I replaced it with one from Berkshire Jaguar and (so far - 2 years) it's been fine. Because they're so small/easy to change, I carry a spare in the boot now.
