CATS /SuperSport suspension on XKR worthwhile?

The XF and later (5 litre) XKs have a battery monitor system. The early 4.2 X150 XK/XKRs have something like this, if you sit with the engine off but the electrics and stereo etc. on for a while eventually it'll switch off the stereo and give you a message to the effect that it's doing this to avoid discharging the battery. Not quite the same thing but better than nowt.

If your car is still on an original battery then consider swapping it out for an AGM-type battery - they seem to do better at holding charge and seem to work better for cars that are used less frequently and/or do mostly short trips. I changed mine out for one of them a couple of years ago, no battery-related gremlins since but I guess I was also changing an old battery for a new one...
