I've owned an A7 TDI (272 bhp) for 4 years. Previous cars were 996 c4s and Audi TTS. Needed space as kids getting bigger. It's a little boring of course, but it's fairly fast, good economy, quite practical and very reliable. I really like the car. Boredom means I need to change; sensible option new A7 (nearly new), heart says used Maserati GT

I’ve run an A6 BiTDi for 4 years. I looked at the A7 too as Audi and Carwow quotes were cheaper than the A6.

The shape was too marmite and in the end I decided I didn’t like it.

These are quick cars but not agile unless you drive aggressively on the paddles. Then they are much better. Great soundtrack and all the toys you could want. Upgraded MMI and Matrix lights are really good.

With regard to toys? Audi deliberately don’t offer so many options on the A5s, so I discounted the S5 for similar money.

My A6 has matrix lights, drove back over the Peak District last night, they are great on country lanes!
