Had mine almost 2 months now. its been good fun to drive and feels like it is getting loser and a little louder. one of the biggest downsides of the 4drive is the lack on noise.

Anyway here's some pics of it in action.

So i spoke to Seat yesterday and they still, despite a July order date, I have NO build date, not even an estimate - this is getting very frustrating

i think july was monumentally busy for them. If you got in early july it looks like you're ok, mid to the end of july... well, the timeframes are significantly different.

I was having similar experiences but I have given up contacting SEAT following mixed messages about unconfirmed build dates. I contacted Phil at IMG following my frustrations and he advised that from what he could see my car should be within them for December - which is what he told me when I placed my order. I'd advise you contact Phil and I am sure that will be a much less stressful experience.

If I get asked for any feedback it would certainly be to improve the tracking of orders, I cant believe how unorganised it seems for such a big company.

I ordered early July and was informed a September delivery for my standard 5dr manual car with ACC, I've rang IMG twice since and still September delivery and my car is on the boat now. Didn't bother with seat customer services as they a lot of peeps have been getting mixed messages off them.

Give IMG a bell smile

On another note hopefully not long until my cupra !!

it has an extra 'muffler' in the middle of the exhaust system. being the estate they want it quieter. apparently you can get a resonator delete kit.

Ah, sounds the opposite of the FL Golf R estate which is apparently louder than the hatchback, having two back boxes (and no valves) instead of one.

Surely with the Seat this is because it is an estate, not because of the haldex system...

Not sure if this will still be of interest to anyone but I've managed to order the Leon Cupra 300 (5dr manual) through Chippenham Seat.

IMG Seat were only able to hold the car for a max of 30 days from when it is delivered to them and I need the car to replace a car going back in late March 2018. Chippenham were willing to agree to hold the car until then, irrespective of when it is received by them.

I also see that IMG have now pulled the deal from their website so if anyone is still thinking about the cupra then Chippenham could be worth a shout.

Terms were very similar with monthlies being about £5 higher than the equivalent IMG deal but, unlike IMG, no admin fee is being charged.

We dealt with Jack Meech who was very helpful.

Hope it's helpful to someone.

Just spoke to SEAT and my Cupra was built yesterday and should be in UK in about 4 weeks (ordered 13th of July)
Current car will need to go back a few weeks earlier.
Happy days

would have saved me the hassle of going all the way 'ooop norf to IMG had i known about that in july, although to be fair most of the other dealers were not familiar with the deal at that point

I recently placed my order with IMG Warrington, but I did speak to Jack at Chippenham whilst I was negotiating and he was very helpful with his prices coming out only slightly more expensive in comparison. I recommend speaking to them for a deal if you're down South (like me) and in the market for a Cupra

So how does it work with the dealer? Seat told me a delivery week of 25 September. Will the dealer just ring me up some day and say "oh BTW your car is here if you want to come get it"? Seeing as it is only 10 days away, I thought I might have heard from the dealer.
Just wondering as I need to arrange my golf to be taken back by bca.
