2 weeks in and the car has developed a really annoying rattle. Appears to be coming from the rear view mirror casing. Put my foot down and rattles like crazy. Anyone else had this issue?
It's not the Soundaktor thing is it?AJB88 said:

Got caught out twice by the Leon not quite behaving as I'd expected this week. Or more accurately, user error.
First occasion was Monday morning. Thick frost on the car, cleared front and side windows, got in. Heated rear screen on, thought that would have the rear screen and mirrors sort before I'm even out my road. Little did I know that the mirror knob has to be turned to a fourth position that is very obvious from everywhere except the driver's seat!
And then today, I ran out of washer fluid. I can't remember the last time I had a modern car that didn't have a low washer fluid warning. Lazy of me not to check, I know but....
You sure it has no warning? my MY14 does because its been going off all week hahaFirst occasion was Monday morning. Thick frost on the car, cleared front and side windows, got in. Hi guys
Basic question re insurance, had a quick look but can’t see anything. I know Volkswagen Financial Servives are the owner of the vehicle but do I put the down as the registered keeper too? I assumed I’d be the registered keeper but an email I have from IMG conflicts this....
Thanks in advance, want to make sure I have everything covered properly.

The lease company will be the registered owner and keeper for insurance purposes. This is normally the case with lease deals. It should not have any impact on your premium.Basic question re insurance, had a quick look but can’t see anything. Thought I would post in here after picking my Cupra up on Saturday. Absolutely love the car, I went for the 3 door in Nevada white. I really wanted to change the colour to mystery blue but glad I didn't as IMG must have had 30 Cupras in and 25 must have been in blue - it still looked nice though. I can't believe how well spec'd the car is as standard and I'm sure those of you who are yet to collect with be more than happy when you pick yours up.
When speaking with Phil he told me that they have moved about 400 Cupras on the current deal and have had people collecting from all over the country!

Well after having my first car ‘written off’ by Seat en route for delivery in December I’ve now been given a delivery date at the end of March, after ordering the car back in July.
So, I’ve cancelled my order and back to the drawing board, such a frustrating experience, and having been in a Cupra ST 300 recently a very nice car to boot. Shame

Bugger. Must be extremely frustrating. I got lucky when I got mine in September. A very helpful chap on here mentioned that there was still the odd car in stock at some dealers and I managed to secure the exact model I wanted and had it a couple of weeks later. At the same time, my wife opted for a 5 door Leon 1.2 something or other. She ordered in September. Quoted as 6 week lead time. Then it became delivery by Christmas. Then it became early January. Then late January and most recently, she's being quoted late February. Late February is okay if that actually happens but all of these date changes are killing our confidence that the car will be available in any sort of usable lead time. Thinking about pulling the plug on it. So, I’ve cancelled my order and back to the drawing board, such a frustrating experience, and having been in a Cupra ST 300 recently a very nice car to boot. Shame
