My Nav blue S5 ( ordered January, built late April) has chrome door handles. The brochure from the time lists it as a feature, and a screen shot I have from the online configurator also appears to show chrome handles, though not brilliantly clearly. While the current brochure still lists them as a feature, the picture on the configurator clearly shows them as body coloured - I suspect thee has been a change in spec at some point

Love that colour.

Anyone with B & O sound - how are you finding it? I have the bass and sub set one notch above half way and get vibration from the back shelf with any volume over about 40% that reminds me of when i put big 6x9 speakers in the parcel shelf of a Nissan Bluebird (i was 17).

Wondering if anyone else had similar issues? Might need to take the car in as surely a sound system like this should be able to handle this kind of usage.

I find that the SB parcel shelf rattles a bit on a standard system with some volume & bass.

My SB parcel shelf was rattling until I noticed I hadn't pushed it all the way back in after removing it. Should be a 'click/notch' when all the way home in its guides.

Went to Audi this afternoon to finalise my paperwork and there was a black and navarra blue S5 sportback, both 17 plate. Black had no chrome trim above handle, navarra blue had chrome trim above handle. Asked the salesman what's different/reason and he didn't have a clue! Bizarre!

By 'above handle' do you mean the top edge? On min ethe whole handle is chrome.

Just the top edge of the handle. Sounds like there's no consistency here?! Very weird.

Mine too is just the top edge I think. Cant say I have seen any pics of a full chrome one.

Here's mine. And a black one in the dealers. Both with full chrome. Brochure also states chrome door handles.

Chaps,

I've been looking at the GAP insurance you guys have been taking out, i can see your prices were sub £100 however ALA are coming out with over £200 and AutoeBid is about £140.

How you get the price so cheap? You all expert negotiators!?

Total loss gap quote around £130, and ALA will beat any quote by 20% of the difference. So get your lowest quote and then go to ALA with it.
